Davenport by Day and Night

A fun filled weekend with friends, camping, food, kids, bmx, chilling, beer, heat, sun and an airshow. Warbirds, jets and aerobatics during the day show followed by displays of absolute power during the night show. Afterburners and dramatic clouds made a memorable evening!

My First Ditch

Flight up with Bill in his sweet 170 was a treat and after the weather passed we spent a beautiful day and night on the airfield. Lots of friends to see both old and new. Thanks to Marginal Aviation folks for creating and event where its so easy to find a fun time!

50th Year of Sun and Fun

Soaring though the sights of the Sun and Fun Aviation Expo

Stearmans and Friends

Smilin’ and Flyin’ with friends at the National Stearman Fly-In. Life is good!

Back to Blakesburg

It started off cool and cloudy. A few daring souls made it in around the low overcast and spotty rain. Time for seeing old friends and swapping hangar stories. Being Iowa, the poor flying weather soon passed and turned into a warm sun. The flying activities sprouted to life and everything took flight.

Return to OSH

After a dreadful year of waiting for the return of Oshkosh it finally happened. And was busier than ever before. The sights and sounds amazed and wowed. Great friends were reunited and new friends were made with each handshake.
